Especially for the summer of 2010, Tozando are please to announce the launch
of the new "Uchimizu" Iaido Gi.
Uchimizu originally refers to the sprinkling of water in Japanese gardens and streets and serves to cool the immediate area, keep down dust and also please neighbors. Japanese people see Uchimizu as being exemplifying national values as it combines utilitarian, aesthetic, courteous and dutiful ends.
With that in mind, this special "Uchimizu-DRY" fabric is woven
in a unique lattice pattern, which is cooling and gives complete freedom
of movement.
Each set is hand-made by our experienced tailors in our headquarters in Nishijin, Kyoto. Thanks to the lightweight, stretch fabric, and specialist tailoring, it allows your movements to be effortlessly smooth.
This Iaidogi is perfect for your intense summer practices, as they are
sweat absorbing and quick-drying. Also, thanks to a new design, the Gi
is tailored in a special way, taking advantage of the Kimono tailoring
technique "Okumi", which prevents it from becoming un-tucked
from the Hakama, keeping your appearance dignified.
100% polyester. Color is available in black and white.
Also, buying both this Uchimizu Iaido Gi and
Uchimizu Iaido Hakama makes the perfect color and texture matches. Save more for
